[PRESS RELEASE] Demco Software announced it has partnered with the Library of Michigan to boost reader engagement and reading program enrollment with Wandoo Reader. More than just a summer reading management tool, Wandoo Reader enhances learning with a powerful, game-like experience.
With Wandoo Reader, Michigan’s 651 library branches will:
- Launch year-round reading programs in no time thanks to the software’s easy-to-use backend.
- Collect data through extensive reporting that offers insight into user engagement.
- Increase program participation by promoting library activities in event feeds.
Wandoo Reader offers families a streamlined registration and management portal, which collects each family member’s reading logs and “challenges” on one central account. A themed, game-like experience keeps readers of all ages and levels coming back for more. Compatibility with smartphones and tablets mean reading can happen anywhere.
“Michiganders visited libraries over 46 million times in 2016 alone! That number is substantial, but I’m confident it will increase after our branches introduce Wandoo Reader’s engaging challenges,” shared Cathy Lancaster, Youth Services Coordinator for the Library of Michigan.
“With Wandoo Reader, our goal is to inspire patrons to continue reading all year long, even after the summer ends,” said Ravi Singh, Executive Director of Demco Software. “We’re excited about this partnership, which will help transform Michigan’s 9.9 million residents into passionate supporters of their libraries.”
